Holiday Boot Camp Inspired Cards

I just took place in my first "online card class" put on by Jennifer McGuire and Kristina Werner (and many other cool people!) and I had sooo much fun!  If you ever get a chance to sign up for one of these classes I really recommend it!

Kristina's day one card was so cute I decided to do my own take on it!

I will post links to all of the items used ASAP!

The second card I made comes from a sketch that Kristina made on day 8.  I really like the way it turned out!

I will post info about this one ASAP too!

My Fist Christmas Card and Other Goodies!

I recently got some goodies from 7 Kids College Fund and I could not wait to try everything out!  I got some Neenah Solar White card stock in both white and cream (something I have been dying to try), the My Minds Eye 12 Days of Christmas 6x6 paper pad, and the C.C. Designs stamp Tree Trimmer Jilly and Daphne!!!  I stamped those adorable little faeries on that smooth as silk paper before before I had everything out of the package!!!  I decided to make a card, my first Christmas card EVER!  Here is a video that explains everything I used on the card!  I will post another blog entry that talks about the scrapbook page at the end of the video.

Scooter Card

Jenny at Crafting In The Country truly inspired me to make THIS card to celebrate my Sister-in-law's new car.  Her husband surprised her so I thought the Paper Smooches sentiment "Just Roll With It" was perfect! I really didn't want to copy Jenny's card but it was just sooooo good!

3x3 Card Envelope Tutorial

I made a little video of the 3x3 envelopes that I made for the Paper Smooches fruit cards I made.

Sorry the quality is not that great...I had to use a different camera to film.

Another Mini Haul!

Basket Full of Fun!

I have been a pretty lucky girl this summer!  I actually won a drawing on the Paper Smooches Blog this month! I won 1 free stamp set and 3 card templates!!!  I picked out Fruitastic (I also bought Vegtastic to complete the fruit and veggie goodness).  I decided to use these sets to make a card for some people we spent the weekend with a few weeks ago.  I got the idea (inspiration) from this card on the Paper Smooches Blog
Isn't it adorable!  Heather did such a wonderful job on all of those strawberries!!!  Here is what I came up with!

I used my Copic markers to color all of the fruits and veggie stamps on Flourishes white card stock.  The yellow paper on the bottom of the card is from the Echo Park "Splash" 6x6 paper pad.  I also wanted to make three 3x3 cards for the little girls int he family so I decided to stick with the fruit theme.

The paper is by Bo Bunny and of course the stamps are all Paper Smooches
Here is a video of how I made the smaller cards:
