I just celebrated my birthday yesterday and for a gift to myself I bought two spots (one for me and one for my mom) in a card making class at my local scrapbook store Simply Scrapbooks. I was so excited to go because this was my first "crafty" class I have ever attended! I have taught them (I worked at a yarn and beading store and I taught many classes there) but I have never gone to any! I had a blast! The class was called "The Cutest Cards Ever with Holly," it was a basic Copic coloring and card making class. Here are the cards we made.
The name of this stamp is Pure Innocence - Pucker Up and it is from My Favorite Things; I just love this little entrepreneur.
I love this stamp on this card but I really like the Die-Namics Dizzy Doily die Holly used to cut out the shape behinde the stamped image.
The second card was just as cute!!!
This adorible little guy is named Flopsy Fishing and he also came from My Favorite Things.
I love how cute he turned out and the little fish is just adorable! On this card I learned about the "Out of the Box" technique that Holly used to to make Flopsy's ears pop out of the Nestablities die.
Last but not least:
Sunbathing Flopsy, again from My Favorite Things. I LOVE THIS CARD!!! The paper on this card from an Echo Park 6x6 paper pad called "Splash."
I blinged out my sun and added a little Glossy Accents to Flopsy's strawberry daiquiri. I loved the way theses cards turned out and they gave me some great ideas for more cards to come!
HAUL!!!!
Okay, so I bought some stamp sets....only a few, really :O)
